Many countries are major contributors to the global technology economy and are constantly developing new ideas to solidify their presence in the international system. These nations are attracting a diverse workforce and recent graduates in order to acquire new skills and ideas to maintain their dominance.

Over the past 10 years, countries such as the USA, China, Russia, India, and European nations have been actively promoting the digitalization of trade and entertainment. Social media platforms have become a popular way for people to consume content such as videos, pictures, and posts. However, the creators of these platforms often use them primarily for business purposes

Many of the users of technology businesses are not involved in the creation or development of these products, but rather simply consume them. They may not fully understand the capabilities and functions of these apps, platforms, and websites. Pakistan is one such country where people heavily rely on social media to form ideas and opinions about the world and others.

As of 2021, it is estimated that Pakistan has around 60 million internet users. However, this number is subject to change as more people gain access to the internet and the population of the country grows. This means that the majority of these users are not inventors or creators, but rather consumers who consume technology without contributing to its development, hindering the growth of technology, engineering and business innovation.
